HELPFUL RC TRUCK TIPS

These rc truck tips should cover most makes and models.

Quick Tips.

-Aggravation and RCs dont mix, this is supposed to be fun,
just think it thru, its probably something minor.

-Longer fuel lines will allow longer run time if
you end up on the roof. Although it also needs more
priming at start up.

-Carb can be rotated in crankcase to accommodate other
throttle linkage setups.

-Antenna wire can be shortened but never cut.(pull the
excess wire back to the receiver box)

-Plastic syringes work great for keeping your after run
fluids, and other lubes in.It also makes applying your
lubes easier and cleaner.

-Tie straps can be added on your fuel cap for quick
access.

-Tie strap your air filter in place.

-Put tie straps on your body clips to make body
removal quicker.

-Remove fuel from tank at the end of the day.

-After-run oil should be added to the carb and
engine head after your done playing.

-Air filters should be changed or replaced after
30min. to 1 hour of play time.

-Check screws, bolts, and nuts frequently for tightness.

-Use gloves when handling fuel.(optional)

-A small piece of carpet for under your vehicle
prevents fuel and exhaust and dirt ,mud from getting
all over your work area.

-Putting blue loc-tite on screws connecting metal
will prevent loosening.

-A magnetic tray will keep your hardware in place
during repair sessions.

-A clean truck is easier to work on, especially around
the carb and electrical equip.Looks better too.
