"Traxxas Revo 2.5R" NEW 3.3 UPGRADE

Traxxas Revo 2.5R comes with plenty of extras.

-2.5R racing engine.
-electronic transmission control.(opti-drive)
-2-speed tranny with reverse.
-3D semi-monocoque chassis.
-aluminum gtr shocks.
-tourque control slipper clutch.
-large-diameter disc brakes.
-trx power pack & charger.
-sealed pivot ball suspention.
-dual-servo steering.
-linkage-based progresssive suspension.
-4WD with sealed driveshafts.
-5 spoke chrome rims.

This truck has more suspension travel than any other monster truck.

This was my first nitro truck purchase at $550+ before the extras.
It has been a really good truck so far. Pretty fast for a
small block but the 3.3 would probably be a better way to
go, if you can afford it.

I have a 72 chevy short box body by PROLINE
on this truck.

The shocks have been upgraded to aluminum ITERGY.
Awesome shocks.

A new 3.3 engine is going in this week, so we'll soon
find out what thats like.

This truck was voted "TRUCK OF THE YEAR" in 2004,(rc car action)
and the "BEST NITRO TRUCK" in 2005.(rc car action readers choice)

I would recommend this rc for starting out with because it
is fairly reasonably priced, a very durable truck, electric
start and lots of extras factory installed. And parts can
easily be obtained, very important factor when looking
to purchase a new toy.

THE 3.3 UPGRADE
After installing the new 3.3
engine in my Revo we burnt
out a spur gear. It has a lot
more power than the 2.5. I think
this could be my favorite truck
again!

W/tires & Rims

-The fin is from PRO-LINE

-The rear bumper is by RPM.

-The tires are PRO-LINE BOWTIES.
-The rims are MAXIMISER BEAD LOCKS.



We still have a few more little bits and pieces
to add to the "ULTIMATE REVO MAKE-OVER",
including a VW Beetle body.

This little truck should be ready for summer.


All modifications and hop ups were done by the
guys at RC TRUCK UPS!

The next step- VW Beetle Body.
I put a plain set of splash stickers on the VW with
spirit white paint. This body came with a light kit, butno protective film on the body.(lesson learned)
